This Privacy Policy explains what information BlackBird Gaming collects and how we use it when you use our website, account system, and related community features.

1. Information we collect

When you register, we may store your username, email address, avatar, registration IP address, and basic account activity needed to operate the site. Gameplay and moderation features may also store player names, connection metadata, and related server activity.

2. How we use information

We use account information to authenticate you, send verification and security emails, display community features, and protect servers from abuse.

3. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may use service providers such as email delivery (for example Resend) and security providers to operate the site. Public profile details like usernames may be visible to other community members where the feature requires it.

4. Bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile)

We use Cloudflare Turnstile on account forms (such as registration and login) to help prevent automated abuse. Turnstile may run in the background without requiring you to complete a puzzle or checkbox. Cloudflare may process limited technical information from your browser as part of that challenge.

Use of Turnstile is subject to Cloudflare’s Turnstile Privacy Addendum, which is incorporated into this Privacy Policy by reference.

5. Cookies and sessions

We use session cookies and similar technologies required for login, security, and site functionality.

6. Data retention

We keep account information while your account remains active and as needed for security, moderation, and legal obligations.

7. Your choices

You may update profile details where available and contact staff if you need help with account access or data requests related to your account.

8. Contact

Privacy questions can be sent through our Discord community or the website contact channels.
